Are you wondering, “where to buy Kruschen Salts in Australia?” or “if they are even still available?”
The brand is no longer available in Australia however Nourish Salts is!
Nourish Salts was created because we were getting a lot of requests for Kruschen Salts. This product however has now been discontinued and its big customer base has not been able to purchase it. We are unsure exactly why it was discontinued but we expect it’s possibly because it is just an old brand that doesn’t exist anymore (see history of Kruschen Salts below).
Luckily at Nourish Health, we have a compounding laboratory and so have been able to recreate the formula.

History of Kruschen Salts
Kruschen salts were first produced by an English company Griffiths Hughes and came to market in Australia back in 1920! It was very popular in the 20s and 30s as a therapeutically balanced electrolyte preparation to help aid in digestion and sluggishness.
In 1960s it was heavily marketed and became very popular with the 55 years + age bracket thanks to it’s catchy slogan, “get that Kruschen feeling”. It was even quoted in a James Bond film, “He’s absolutely rejuvenated. He looked like that blasted man in the old Kruschen Salts advertisements”.
The branded product doesn’t seem to be available in Australia anymore (likely because it’s just an old product). This is why our compounding lab started making Nourish Salts. It uses a very similar formula and has the same ingredients.
Nourish Salts (Kruschen Salts) are an alkalising blend of 6 salts and citric acid. They contain Magnesium sulphate, Sodium sulphate, Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Potassium sulfate, Potassium iodide, and Citric acid. They are used as a nutritional supplement to aid in digestion, relieve cramps and muscle aches, keep regular bowels, assist in detoxifying and cleansing the body, and as a dietary source of iodine.
